我为了写一个六周年活动的报告想多理解一下阳光。主要是我想知道一些数字，有的我已经自找了，还有一些是立文告诉我了：

关于阳光：
＊ 什么时候开始：2003年六月
＊一共有几位志愿讲过课：前6个月：200＋
＊阳光一共都去过了几个学校？：前6个月：5
＊一共有几个孩子参加过了阳光的活动：前6个月：300
＊阳光今年一共安排了几个周某？应该可以说是差点儿每一个周末有
＊阳光教几种课？六种：文学，英语，科学，艺术，JA 和 计算机 （欢迎你们来参加计算机组 ）

关于6周年的活动：
＊一共几个学校参加了？5个都是吗？不，就一个，宜民，大部分是小学，1到6年级＋几十个初中
＊一共几个学生？350
＊一共几个活动？4个表演（英文，国学，艺术和科学）＋13游戏（7个大年级，6个小年级）

六周年的活动就一个学校参加了，就是宜民学校的孩子。
学生人数是350个左右，1到6年级加上初中的几十个孩子。
4个表演节目，分别是英语组，国学组，科普组和艺术组；然后13个游戏，6个高年级和7个低年级游戏。

至于今年要安排几个周末进行项目活动，下半年的项目活动应该是各个负责人还要和学校沟通吧~上半年就是前6个月是崔各庄和桃园各10次活动，宜民学校5次活动。

我根据学生出勤算的 有300个孩子这个学期上过课，将近1600人次

志愿者的数量，没有统计...

以往的数字不好估算，是不是可以仅仅采用2008-2009的数据？可以这样说“仅2008-2009年1年多的时间，阳光志愿者共有xxx人次参加志愿活动，累计为xxxx名学生提供周末课堂辅导”

First draft:

Gdiums at the LEAD 6th anniversary event.

About LEAD:
LEAD (阳光, sunlight in Chinese) is a Chinese non-profit association that has been delivering courses to Chinese migrant schools since 2003. The extra classes are given by volunteers to the children during the week-end on one of the following  topics: Literature, English, Sciences, Art, Junior Achievement (Economics) and Computer Sciences. As for the first semester of 2009, over 200 volunteers from LEAD have been delivering courses to 300 students from 5 different schools in Beijing. Classes are held almost every week-end. LEAD and the Beijing Gdium team got in touch in February of this year and have been regularly participating in events ever since. Some Gdiums have been used at the computer sciences classes, mostly with Rur-ple, Gcompris and Open Office Writer.

  

About the event:
On June 7th, LEAD organized an additional event to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the organization and the end of the school years for the pupils. 350 primary school and middle school children gathered at the Yimin (宜民) school where they could take part in 13 games and activities prepared by the volunteers from LEAD. On the top of that, some of the students that had been taking classes with LEAD over the last semester proposed 4 shows to the numerous crowd that had joined the event. Gdiums were used in one of the activities where students were to challenge one another on who could type the fastest using a learning program from Gcompris. The Gdium team is very proud to have participated in this event and is looking forward to further cooperating with LEAD in the future.



We are going to work on having it a bit less formal, I am not that much of a Blog writer myself.

是的，应该加到李洋的视频中。
另外是否可以将其作为学期总结的一部分...

放在月报有点太频繁了，有盲目追求数字的嫌疑...

Julien, there is one course need to be revised. Does the "social life" mean our previous lesson "team activity" which is not included this semester? And we have another course named "Junior Achievement" (my team) to bring children some simple economice knowledge.

Social life was an attempt to translate JA, I will replace it by economics.

Problem is Junior Achievement does not really tells what the class is about.

The lesson "team activity" better be translated in Children Applied Psychology. They are be given mostly through group games, which children are crazy about.  
It's held in this semester by our volunteers from BUU, so the whole pupils number should be over 300.

maybe change the word "pupils" to children or students?  Pupils is rarely used in modern language beside in novels(maybe it is just in US).  That is just my 2 cents.  anyway.  good stuff.  keep up the good work

I don't know you guys now this or not.  JA is a NPO, and it is pretty big.  So maybe the name is ok after all??

Beau, we agreed to use "JA" and I think Julien just gave a good suggestion to translate JA course here in LEAD by adding "Economics". People are curious about what JA is when they first hear it. In LEAD we're cooperating with JA to share two lessons now. One is JA-our city and the other is JA-our world. Both include economice knowledge and green environmental application.
我想我们已经同意使用JA（经济学）这样的字眼，这能比较明显体现JA的课程具体是什么。很多人一开始听到JA都不知道是青年成就这个课程是干嘛的，这其实就是我们阳光和JA合作的一个在小学里开展的课程。目前有两门：我们的城市和我们的世界，都是讲授浅显经济学和绿色环保知识的。

Hehe I knew that the JA courses were not only about economics, that's why I chose "Social life" in the first place, maybe "Economics and social life"

I might also just rephrase the whole stuff and mention JA as a class content provider for LEAD instead of putting them in the curriculum list

另一个重要问题，经宇轩提醒，给阳光的英文翻译应该是SUNSHINE，而不是SUNLIGHT。我们都自诩为SUNSHINER

宜轩登陆不了，我替他说，我那话指得是老朱给阳光的英文翻译那段“LEAD (阳光, sunlight in Chinese) ”不应该用sunlight，而是sunshine。
不是改英文名， 是让外国人更好得理解俱乐部的中文到底是什么意思，所以用sunshine。
