Alexis is at the critical age of 50. He has a good job and an orderly family life. The film begins late one evening with a phone call from his boss’s secretary, which causes him to drive hurriedly to the office. His boss announces that he is fired. From this moment his life becomes a nightmare. His marriage ends in divorce and is followed by an odyssey in search of both a new job and another companion. Alexis experiences a series of tragicomic situations in various workplaces while he relishes seductive and absurd meetings with erotic companions of various ages.
50岁的阿里克斯有一份不错的工作，过着正常的家庭生活。一天深夜，他接到老板秘书打来的电话后，急匆匆地赶往办公室才得知自己被解雇了。从那时起，他的生活成了真实的梦魇。他与妻子离了婚，开始艰难地寻找新的工作以及新的伴侣。阿里克斯在各个不同的工作地点遭遇了一系列悲喜交加的情形，也结交了一连串不同的年龄、性格各异的女性，引发了许多可笑的事件。
