Let's start to talk about Julien's hometown-France here.

I've been to Paris before. Nice city and ugly metro... Lots of museums, amazing artchitecture, wonderful left-side cafe,etc.
Star with which one??
French like ppl speaking French and other foreign langage, but better not English, why?

Ugly metro :D Paris metro is more than 100 years old, no air con in most trains, VERY bad smell in the stations and a few safety issues but well, no choice... Visiting Paris is a very busy activity, I don't have any particular advice, we all have our favorite places I think Montmartre is a very nice place for example

For the English hehehe it's just cultural, we speak bad English compared to Northen Europe and we don't like to speak English, especially in France. The English language is sometimes seen as a threat for the French language.

As far as Montmartre is mentioned here (need to check what the English name is :p), that will be one of my favourite place when I visited Paris. 巴黎的制高点啊～that underground church is kind of dark...

Remind me of one uncomfortable thing is no hot food provied in cafe, only bread~Good restaurant recommended?

呵呵，第一次去巴黎的时候是自由行，又没有作太多功课，十足乡巴佬。想去巴黎圣母院看看，面对着一堆一堆身穿短裙的法国乡亲们，真不知怎么说。只能高喊，“我要去看church，那个有卡西摩多和阿斯米拉达的church!”
不知是他们听懂了还是这所教堂太出名了，所有人都给我指出了方向。

我在07年高二的时候去了巴黎，那是在寒假春节的时候。
我们一家子跟团去的，有小半天在巴黎自由活动。
影响很深的一件事是，去凯旋门，登顶的话要买票，我说我要一张学生票，一个胖胖的法国阿姨说要看护照，我递给他，她看了一眼说，FREE！原来未满18岁是免票的。好像巴黎很多古迹都有这样那样的优惠。
还有巴黎街头那些垃圾桶，其实就是垃圾袋，据说是因为反恐。

As for terrorist attacks, we have had issues with terrorist groups in the 90s and the 00s, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1995_Paris_Metro_bombing for example. Even today, Al Qaeda is threatening the country because of the French army's activity in Afghanistan.

Julien, how about the French movie? See, I prefer Juliette Binoche & Marion Cotillard（not the recepiton but la vie en rose& Jeux d'enfants）&Audrey Tautou &Louise Bourgoin (Les aventures extraordinaires d'Adèle ). All are female~~ And the best movie is the big blue(Le grand bleu)!!!! Especially this movie takes me to crash on French movie. How could French ppl make such a wonderful feeling into the movie!

The big blue is a great movie, Luc Besson makes great movies but also produces lots of crap, he actually produces much more movies that he makes unfortunately.

As for male actors, there are Jean Reno, Vincent Cassel (crimson rivers), Depardieu that have international fame too.
