連環畫遊戲:
• 每個學生將一張A4紙折成8個格,在8個格里畫上自己周末喜歡做的事情,運用下列詞組(climb mountains/go shopping/play the piano/visit grandparents/go hiking/read books/watch TV/play football/clean my room)並將對應的詞組寫在圖畫下方
• 在小組內展示自己的連環畫並介紹。(助教協助輔導,請不要直接教孩子說,孩子不會時引導)

VIII. 挑戰你的記憶力!
• 老師/助教根據紙條上的詞組連續表演出一天的活動,例如:get up- eat breakfast- go to school- have English class- go home- do homework- go to bed
• 在表演每一個活動時,在黑板上寫下時間
• 學生以小組為單位將這幾個活動按時間順序寫下來,最先寫完的全體舉手示意
• 小組內所有學生一起念出所寫的活動

S5.Guessing game: 一個學生在講檯面向黑板,主講向其他學生展示代表一個季節的圖片,講台下學生開始描述該季節讓講台上學生猜。注意必須用句子描述。
S6. Survey: do a survey in the whole class including all the teachers, asking the above questions. Let’s see who can get the most answers. Choose the most interesting one from the answers you get to present.(主講、助教、旁聽回答學生提問)

U3 My Birthday

1) TA helps to teach 12 months of the year by holding a stack of cards (1-12), asking each student
to pick one and see if he/she knows how to say it (most of them should be able to as they
should’ve already learnt this unit in school, but might not be able to pronounce the words
correctly) TA repeats and get students to follow. Practice the pronunciation of each month
several times. At the same time, Christine writes numbers 1-12 and the corresponding months
on the board. Drill the list. Then erase the words for 12 months leaving only the numbers.
Drill the months again, and then split students into 2 groups. TA says the number,
students shout the month. The group with the student who can shout the right month first wins.
2) Calendar song: Hand out month flashcards to students. Play Calendar Song.
Ss sit at their desks and stand up when the corresponding month is mentioned.
3) Listening competition: get students into pairs, give each pair a stack of poker cards (1-12),
C says the month, the winner is whoever picks the card with the right number.
4) How many months are there in spring/summer/autumn/winter?
Get students to write the 12 months (only the abbreviations) in order in a column down the left side
on a piece of paper. (TA can help if necessary)
S4. When is your birthday? My birthday is in_____.
1) Draw a birthday cake next to “July”. Teach: My birthday is in July.-When is your birthday?
2) Ask a few students
3) Survey: When is your classmate’s birthday? (Students will be encouraged to ask TAs this question as well)
Presentation: My birthday is in ____. John’s birthday is in______. Helen’s birthday is in____.....
S5. Ordinal Numbers:
1) Teach first-thirty first
2) Game: Hand out cards with ordinal nunmers randomly face down to students. Bring in a stop watch, C calls out "Go", students run into a line from 1st to the highest number and then call them out correctly. Time it and then play again, telling them they have a chance to beat their previous time, though mix up the cards again. Play twice for each set of cards.
3) Show students a calendar; teach how to say a date. E.g. April 6th
4) Holidays
5) Writing race: divide the class into 2 or 3 teams. One student from each team stands near the
board at his respective positions. C calls out a date. The student who gets to write first
correctly adds a score to his team. Each student gets two or three chances and then a new set of
students play. The team with maximum scores wins.

1. Brainstorming: 學生分兩組,在5分鐘內,在黑板上寫上能想到的動作詞組,不得看書。最後看哪個組寫的多。由每組學生共同帶讀。
2. 給學生一會時間自己複習所有句子和詞組
S6. Game: Mr. Tiger:
1.學生圍成圈;
2. 一個學生在中間當 Mr. Tiger;
3. 所有學生問Mr. Tiger “What are you doing Mr.Tiger?” 然後Mr. Tiger 說例如 I’m swimming.
4. 所有學生重複該句子並做動作;
5. 當Mr. Tiger 說到 “I’m having breakfast/lunch/dinner”時所有學生要跑開,Mr. Tiger 追,被Mr. Tiger抓到的當下一輪的Mr. Tiger
規則: Mr. Tiger不能在第一句和第二句時就說I’m having breakfast/lunch/dinner; 不能總是重複同樣的句子
S7. Guessing game: 用紙將圖片的一部分遮住,讓學生猜圖片里的人在做什麼?

分兩組,第一組中找學生上台做一個動作(一直重複,不要停),第二組學生閉上眼睛倒數“Three, two, one, stop!”,在台上做動作的學生定格,第二組學生睜開眼睛,猜台上學生做的什麼動作,第一組學生回答是或否。所練句型:
1. What is she doing? Is she __ing _______? No, she is not _____/ Yes, she is _____________.
2. What is he doing? Is he __ing _______? No, he is not _____/ Yes, he is _____________.
3. What is it doing? Is it ___ing___? No, it is not _____/Yes, it is__________. (展示圖片)

S5. Game: (助教監督學生說英文,不能用中文)
1. 在黑板上貼上幾張動物的圖片(有單數、複數的)及幾個人名(Christine, Jack etc.)
2. 發給每個學生幾張卡片
3. 5分鐘內, 每個學生在班裡其他學生黑板上的動物和人在做什麼Is the monkey _____ing?/ Is Christine ___ing?/ Are the pandas _____?,如果被問的學生手中有該動物或人在做該動作的卡片,則需將該卡片給提問的學生,如果沒有則說No, it is/she is/he is/they are not_________.
4. 5分鐘後看誰手中的卡片多。學生輪流根據手中圖片造句
S6. In the zoo: (如需要,助教引導)
1. 給每個學生髮一張動物圖片,告訴學生現在他/她就代表該動物
2. 在黑板上掛上一幅動物園的簡筆畫,將代表Christine 在做某一動作的圖片貼到動物園圖片的某一地方
3. 讓學生自己在紙上照樣子也畫一個動物園,並把Christine 畫在圖片中
4. 然後讓學生想象自己所代表的動物在做某一個動作,也畫在圖中(提示學生不要讓其他同學看到)
5. 問學生It’s 11 o’clock. What is Christine doing in the zoo? 學生回答:She is ________near the river/on the mountain/in the garden/under the tree.
6. 學生在班裡問其他同學同樣的句式,例如問代表兔子的學生:It’s 11 o’clock. What is rabbit doing in the zoo? 該學生回答: It’s _______ near the river/on the mountain/in the garden /under the tree. 提問的學生將其畫到自己的圖畫里

主講將準備好的卡片拿出來(動物圖片和動作單詞卡片),找兩位同學分別抽一張,然後不出聲做動作。讓下面的同學猜是什麼動物在做什麼。
可能會出現比較好笑的情況,比如說birds are fighting/tiger is flying

1. 詞組介紹及操練
2. Chinese whisper(傳話遊戲):每組所有學生不能往後看,從每組最後一名學生開始,根據老師給的圖片造句,然後口述給前一名學生,依次類推,至最前面一名學生大聲告訴助教老師該組傳的句子,哪個組完成的又快又對為勝。
3. Guessing game: 分兩組,一組轉身,給第一組學生出示圖片,該組學生提問
What is/are ___ doing? 第二組學生猜,第一組學生回答
Is she/he______ing? Yes, she/he is. // No, she/he isn’t.
Are they _____ing? Yes, they are. // No, they aren’t.
S5. 拼句子遊戲:
1. 給每組學生一些帶有單詞的卡片,每組學生一起來組句子,然後交給在黑板前的一名學生,由其將組好的句子寫在黑板上。在規定時間內寫出的句子多的組為勝。時間到後,由組內共同將句子念出來。

S6. Draw a pic together: A field trip
1. 在黑板上畫一個戶外的簡筆畫,將代表Christine 在做某一動作的圖片貼到圖片的某一地方;
2. 讓學生自己在紙上也照樣子畫,並把Christine 畫在圖片中;
3. 然後讓學生想象自己在做某一個動作,也畫在圖中(提示學生不要讓其他同學看到)
4. 問學生 Is Christine ___ing in the field trip? 學生回答
5. 讓學生在班裡問其他同學Are you _____ing in the field trip? 被問到的學生按照自己畫的動作如實回答,提問的同學相應地畫到自己的畫中,並標明名字;
6. 短時間後,讓學生看看自己畫中還缺少班裡那位同學,再在班裡詢問其它人(不能直接去問缺少的那位同學)Is xxx ____ing in the field trip? 如果被問的同學已經有這個答案,則回答,提問的同學相應地畫到自己圖裡。如果沒有,被問同學則說sorry, 提問同學去找其他同學問;
7. 最後大家展示,看是不是都一樣
U6 Part 2
S1. Review:
Jumping/running/swimming/sleeping/flying/climbing/fighting/walking/drinking/swinging
1. 蘿卜白菜蹲遊戲:給學生每人發一張帶有一個動作單詞的卡片,輪流喊e.g. jumping, jumping, sleeping—sleeping sleeping, walking. 要求學生喊的同時要做相應動作
2. 陷害人遊戲:學生隨意選擇班裡另一位學生的名字造句,e.g. John is flying. 被點到名字的學生必須迅速站起來做出相應動作。先練單數,再練複數。
S2. Phrases from last week: having a picnic/ taking pics/ watching insects / picking up leaves/ catching butterflies
1. 看圖片複習:先一起複習,再請學生來領讀
2. 踩地雷遊戲:將所有詞組卡片貼在黑板上,選一個詞組,告訴學生這有地雷。學生跟讀,如讀到有地雷的詞組上,學生還跟讀就算做踩了地雷,全班同學一起數“one, two, three, bomb!”砸向跟讀了的同學。
3. 抽卡片,組對話:What is ___/are____ doing? ….
4. Guessing game: 分兩組,一組轉身,給第一組學生出示圖片,該組學生提問What is/are ___ doing? 第二組學生猜,第一組學生回答

1.單詞操練:
老師伸幾個手指,學生就念幾遍(將圖片貼到黑板上,並把詞組寫在圖片下,要求學生一起做筆記)
Challenge Christine: 學生跟C讀詞組,若C讀到某詞組時聲音變小,學生不跟讀,若出錯,C加一分;反之學生加一分/學生跟C讀詞組,若C讀的是詞組A,但指的是詞組B,若學生還跟讀A,則C加一分;反之學生加一分
2. London bridge:把詞組卡片排列到粉筆槽中,先帶學生讀幾遍,然後給學生一定時間自己練。學生分兩組,排隊按順序念詞組,都讀對的算是順利過橋,加5分;讀不出來或讀錯的,學生一起說“撲通”,該詞不得分,然後繼續直到走完,按讀對的單詞說加分。最後看哪個組得分多
3. Guessing game: 分兩組進行競賽,教師先出示一些單詞的圖片,然後收起來,再從中抽出一張放在身後,由每組的學生輪流猜:Is she/he______ing? /Are they _____ing?每人一句,猜對了就給該組加一分,然後接着往下猜,最後得分最多的組為優勝。(老師需告訴學生單複數)(可由龍良遠主持)
S5. 拼句子遊戲:
1. 給每組學生一些帶有單詞的卡片,每組學生一起來組句子,然後交給在黑板前的一名學生,由其將組好的句子寫在黑板上。在規定時間內寫出的句子多的組為勝。時間到後,由組內共同將句子念出來。
