1. 暖场会话:

介绍助教,让孩子对助教老师有更多的了解
2. 复习
a) 复习国家名称:Canada, France, Japan, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom
b) 复习对话

3.介绍歌曲---Big Big World
1)首先介绍作者Emilia,其实是对西方文化的一个介绍;
2)然后讲解歌词,这其实也是一首精美的英文小诗,非常地浅显,简单,但是蕴含的感觉却带着一丝苦涩,和对人生的感悟;
3)领读歌词,让大家首先学会正确的读出每一个词,这部分需要助教分组小范围集中辅导;
4)朗诵部分,在学习如何唱之前,学会朗读这首诗,以组为单位presentation;
第二堂
5)播放歌曲,学习旋律,直至掌握;
6)希望最后的效果是:大家可以打着节拍,基本上可以完整的跟着伴奏唱下整首曲子2013年8月20日 (二) 20:46 (CST)

详细教案:
【First Class】
1. warm-up game: quick wit relay (10’)
A toy is passed randomly among all the paticipants. Anyone who gets the toy has to finish a task before she can pass it to the next person. Tasks progresses in two levels.
Level 1: the first person to throw the toy gives an English letter, the next person who gets the toy must instantly give two letters, first of which should be next to the given letter in the alphabet; second of which,on the contrary, should be at least two letters away from the given letter.
Level 2: the first person to throw the toy gives an English word, the next person who gets the toy must instantly give two words, first of which should be related in some way with the given word; second of which,on the contrary, should be utterly irrelevant with the given word.
2. Review the vowels: A E I O U and Y (10’)
group contest – word hunt: find out as many as possible words with long vowels and short vowels
3. Review vowel combinations (25)
introducing Rule No. 3: when two vowels go walking, the first one does the talking.

教学效果和分析:
第一节课只来了三个学生,而且都是迟到了一刻钟左右才到,自然拼音的知识基本上都已经忘得差不多了,而且不像第一次接触时候那样有兴趣,教学效果很不理想。
第二节课又来了两个孩子,而且两个人状态都比较积极,这节课的课堂气氛有明显的改善。通过Alphabet Box(即依照字母表的顺序回忆从A-Z开头的与主题相关的单词)的方式来“头脑风暴” Cinderella 故事中涉及的单词,孩子们对这种方式还是比较有兴趣,反馈很积极。最后的表演中,Alice和Cindy的搭档掀了一个小高潮。
对下次课的建议:
孩子们的词汇积累非常有限,甚至一个基础相对较好的学生,连“hat”都表示没有学过。因此在进行自然拼音的举例之时,孩子们的参与度很差,因为完全想不出什么单词来。第一次上课时因为有助教的帮助效果还不错,这次复习就完全表现出了孩子的真实水平。
同时,第二节课Alphabet Box的游戏孩子们参与度比较好,反映出以孩子目前的基础,以主题来梳理单词,效果比较好。以后应当有意识地帮助孩子进行这种梳理,选择一些有趣的主题,把相关单词集中起来串讲。
