本来是做了一个word文档,里面包括了准备上课用的flashcard, wordsheet和小组活动的citycard,但是我不知道怎么在论坛上传附件,所以就贴一个脱水版吧~

教学内容:It’s warm today
试讲内容为First session 3. Study,教学提纲中红色的内容
1.词汇: Weather, hot, cold, warm, cool, sunny, cloudy, windy, snowy, today
2.句型: What’s the weather like today?
3.其他:通过课堂游戏提高学生对英语的兴趣,并通过小组活动的形式培养学生的团队精神。
教学步骤:
First session Study and Review (45 minutes)
1. Greeting, self-introduction (3 minutes)
2. Warm-up:
-Review numbers, and rearrange the seats by having students counting from 1 to 4. Students 1s are going to take line 1, 2s are going to take line 2, and so on. (5-10 minutes)
-Review colour and divide students into groups of four, give each group a colour paper and name the groups after their colours. Write down the colours on a corner of the board, then tell the students, each group will be judged as a group. The best group of the day can get a pack of M&M chocolate in the end of the class. (5-10 minutes)

3. Study (10-15 minutes)
- Vocabulary: Show students flash cards or draw pictures and words on the blackboard. Read each word and ask the students to read after. Then ask them “How many sound” for each word to divide the syllables and reinforce the memory. Then “How do you spell it?”
and “What does it mean?” By looking at the picture, some students may be able to tell the meaning either in Chinese or by gestures. Then reinforce the meaning by telling the students again.
Flash cards (in word doc)
- Small game: acting game.
Have one student to the front, give the student a weather card and ask the student to act. The rest of the students should guess the word he/she acts and spell out the word. The fastest group wins a point. This game can be played for several rounds. (10-15 minutes)
4. Sentence:
Lead the students to read the following worksheet, have them finish writing it, and have them practice asking and answering in pairs. (15 minutes)

Then ask the students to work in pairs and practice asking and answering in different ways.
Second session Extension: Group project (45 minutes)
Group project: Weather Report
- Objective
Through the group project, students can practice the vocabulary on weather, clothes, activities. They can also practice speaking about the weather. In addition, by working as a team they learn how to corporate with other people.
- Materials: A few cards with the names of Chinese cities and pictures showing the weather there. Crayons or colour pens if possible. A few scratch paper for each group and a few clean A3 paper.
- Key sentences:
Where are you? What is the weather like in _____?/How’s the weather in _______?
We are in ______. It’s ___________ in ___________. It is cold/hot.
I wear ______ in ________.
- Group task小组任务:
Each group draws a city card. Draw a picture according to the content of your city card. On this drawing, you need to show the weather of the city and what kind of clothes you can wear in this weather. After 15 minutes preparation, each group will have 3-5 minutes to present their drawing by using the sentence structures we just learnt. You can also add your own words or sentences, the more the merrier! Before one group presents, the next group needs to ask them the questions about where they are and how’s the weather.
每组同学根据城市卡画一张画,表达出这个城市的天气,以及这种天气适合穿什么衣服。并用刚才学过的句型描述这幅图。你也可以加一些自己知道的词汇或者句子,越多越好!一组同学上台演示时,下一组的同学要问他们两个问题:Where are you? What is the weather like in ___________?
- You can win a highest of 5 points from this game which will contribute to the group’s total score of the day. 胜利完成这项任务的小组可以拿到5分,并计入今日小组总分。
The groups are judged by 评分标准:
If their pictures are nice and beautiful 图画是不是够漂亮
If they present well 上台说的时候是不是通顺、正确、声音响亮
If they ask the correct questions 有没有问对问题
If they are quiet enough when other groups are presenting 别的小组发言时有没有保持安静
If they have worked as a team a.k.a if everyone in the team has contributed to the final work 是不是小组里的每个人都有事儿干
TA’s role: 1. Make sure the students have even labour distribution, for example, one person can represent the team and speak, one person draw, one person prepare the sentences, and one person ask the questions. This is just an example of how the students can distribute their work. They can be creative on this too. 2. Make sure the students know how to ask their questions and how to present. 3. Make sure that they draw the pictures. 4. Encourage them to speak more than required, if time allowed. (助教和老师可以帮助学生:1. 分配任务,以保证每位组员都有事儿干。比如:可以让一个人代表全组上台,一个人画画,一个人帮代表准备发言稿,一个人问问题。这只是一种工作分配方法,学生也可以自由分配活动。2. 回答学生的问题,帮助他们正确说出问题和演讲内容。3. 鼓励学生画画。4. 时间允许的话,鼓励学生说一些句子计划任务之外的句子,比如It is cold. I skate. 等等。)
